On Thursday, April 11th, we had our official Grand Opening celebration for our luxury area rugs store. We enjoyed wonderful food from SF Kabob and flowers from Solano Florist! We had the lovely opportunity to enjoy a gorgeous mahogany baby grand piano, a collaboration with DC Piano, which was well appreciated by all our guests and especially our pianist, Alexander Coward. Claire McCabe, Corporate Relations and Foundation Manager of the Seva Foundation was present talking to guests about the wonderful gift of giving sight to less fortunate with only a 15 minute operation.
We also had Rochelle Nason, Mayor of Albany and Michael Barnes, Council Member in attendance. We thank the Solano Avenue Association and Allen Cain for their presence and helping us get the word out. As well, we were thrilled to have Lisa Lovely and Sara McGovern from Luxe Magazine in attendance who share their love of fine oriental rugs with us.
