65326 FARYAB RUG

The Faryab rug is named after one of the most peaceful provinces in Afghanistan.  This northern area near the Turkmenistan border was where Turkoman Aryana weavers had migrated to avoid wars in Turkmenistan.  While we call this a Faryab rug, we can also distinguish it as a nomadic Turkman style rug with beautiful abrash, handspun wool and natural dyes.  These rugs have bold colors and beautiful designs made for the art lover who feels connected to tribal weaves.
